Being a student, as I’ve always opined, should be a whole ass job with a salary of its own.
On another angle, being a student in this Nigeria should not only come with a fat salary, but with other side attractions because the pressure is wesser!

There are just so many thing you have to do and to meet up to, that you can’t afford to mess up. There is your grades, your social life, your passion and ambition, your health, your sanity…, that you begin to realize that no one actually cares about and for you, except you.
You begin to realize the you truly have only you to wade through all that toxicity and shege.
You actually realize that you have to be very intentional about every aspect of YOU that makes you a student, to triumphantly sing your school's anthem on that graduation day.
Your health status as a student determines your total input and output as a student. Afterall, na who dey alive dey show up. Being a student in Nigeria comes with so much toxicity and shege that you end up struggling to survive and make it out alive, and half the time forgetting the degree that you’re actually here for.
Here are some very helpful healthy living tips for students in Nigeria:
1. Drink water- Carry a water bottle around if you need to. Stay hydrated all the time!
2. Eat well- try dey chop! Even if it is gaari, eat it with joy and satisfaction. Eat fruits also.

3. Go for regular check ups- Visit the clinic and have your vitals checked.

4. Go for home cooked meals- As hard as this might be, it’s healthier and more cost effective.

5. Avoid the sun- Walk around with an umbrella if you can afford it & save yourself from roasting!
6. Reduce your stress as much as possible

7. Sports- Participate in a sport activity or two

8. Make friends- make friends, chill and smile!
9. Sleep- I know you want a 5.0, but try to sleep and rest your head once once.

10. Take supplements
11. Protect yourself- make sure to be well covered from bugs during overnight reading hours.
NB: do, however note that these are the basics and you must cut your cloth according to your size. With that being said, enjoy!
